I have base game and a few DLC, no mods, mostly default settings and default config files. I notice very often my hired drivers loss a lot of money while doing jobs. I took dozen of screenshots from my 145 hired drivers, one of every five has at least one of these negative income jobs, funny, sometimes they even level up after these jobs …. I have 2 profiles in each game with many drivers (100+) in each and the drivers you can hire with higher levels are always different. Also when you add drivers (with game update or mod), they are totally random in terms of skills. Making roughly 500k a day. Don't worry about it. The game is not about management or money! Just buy your truck and enjoy driving! You'll very soon have millions and basically no way to spend them.
