Just like its little brother, the 890 Adventure, KTM has given the 1290 Super Adventure saddlebag-style fuel tanks that hang down either side of the bike. I had a 2015 super adventure t. Was an awesome bike. Sold it for the 890r, which is better suited off road than the t. The 890r has the new tank, that holds gas low. That feature really helps handling in the twisties. i can imagine how much better handling is on the new 1290sa. I wish ktm would have added the new tank on the gt.
