I bought two R5 bodies, one for a 24-105 f/4 and the other for a 70-200 f/2.8 or 100-500 f/4.5-7.1 so I wouldn't have to change lenses all the time and risk dropping one, and slowing everything down and taking the fun out of it. Now, except for the most hard core pixel peeping sessions, I'm wondering if that was worth it.
Hey guys. I’m currently using an R6. Lenses: RF 35mm F/1.8, RF 50mm F/1.8 and, EF 24-105mm F/4 Mark 1 with adapter. I’m wondering if I should upgrade the EF zoom to an RF or go for something different like a 24-70mm f/2.8.

I have the RF 24-70 and the RF 24-105 f4. Both are great lenses but the 24-70 is sharper and the extra stop is great. The 28-70 is sharper still by all reports but it doesn't fit my needs (and my 68 year old hands and wrists). Renting will make up your mind. Just get them for a couple of days.
