I have the RF 24-70 and the RF 24-105 f4. Both are great lenses but the 24-70 is sharper and the extra stop is great. The 28-70 is sharper still by all reports but it doesn't fit my needs (and my 68 year old hands and wrists). Renting will make up your mind. Just get them for a couple of days. The Canon RF 24- 105mm F4 L IS USM is by far the most beefy kit lens canon has ever made. The tech that has gone into it definitly justifies it cost. It is a B3bU5.
